I don't know how to express in words how much I enjoy your books! I am a total book junkie. Your books make me so happy! I can't describe the feeling I get when I know I love a book, I always have that feeling with yours! They are so sweet and funny and just what this Mom needs on busy days when my kids finally take a nap! But usually I'm still reading when they go to bed at night! I can never put them down until I read the last page! I'm addicited. It's like chocolate, it's so good, you gobble up every last morsel until it's gone, and then you wish you made it last for later!. You are the best!

To those of you asking about the Kendrick/Coulter books and which comes first, it is Baby Love, Phantom Waltz, and Sweet Nothings, but each stands along, so it probably won't matter if you read them out of order. To those of you asking if you can expect a sequel, the answer is, hopefully, yes. I'm plotting Hank's story right now! It remains to be seen if the story will be accepted by my publisher, so keep your fingers crossed.

Ohmigosh! I've been away in Denver, and I haven't had time to stop in here until now. I'm overwhelmed by all the beautiful, BEAUTIFUL posts from all of you. I was feeling just a little down. Thanks to all of these fabulous letters, now I'm walking on air. How can I thank you? I read each and every message, and there are simply no words to express how much this means to me.

I have just begun your books. I read Baby Love, then Phantom Waltz, and now Sweet nothing. I sure hope I am reading them in a good order. I was told to read them in this order. I don't know what I am supposed to reat 4th, 5th and 6th, but I do have them all. I think I have 8 or 9 of your books. They are incredible. I get a lot of exercise done reading them. I can't do the treadmill without a book. Your books keep me on the treadmill a long time. Thanks, best of luck to you and many prayers for your husbands health. suzi Bird

Catherine, I have been remiss in keeping up with your site. I am so sorry to hear that your husband has been ill and I hope that he's doing better now. I have finally been able to purchase some of your books and I got the Kendrick/Coulter series (BABY LOVE, PHANTOM WALTZ, SWEET NOTHINGS). As you know, most of my reading is done through the library since there's no way I can afford to finace my reading addiction! But I do buy books of a select few authors and you are definitely one of my favorites! My fave book of yours is still PHANTOM WALTZ, it holds a special place for me and I see by the entries here that alot of people agree with me! Good luck in your continued writings - I look forward to many years of reading your works. Darla

Your Books! I read a compilation book of many authors, one was Fancy Free by Catherine Anderson, so good! I ran out and found other books Seventh Heaven, Sweet Nothings, Annie's Song and then hunted down everything you have written. Historical, Contemporary, stories from different walks of life most travelled like paralysis, deafness, abuse...Your stories run the gambit of emotion, ups, downs, serious, funny - laugh out loud funny. Selfishly I wish I could jump ahead 50 years and have already read all the books I hope you write. Thank You!

Dear Ms. Anderson, The first book I read of yours was "Baby Love" and I could not put it down. Not long afterwards I read "Seventh Heaven" and could not put it down either. Then comes "Phantom Waltz" which is my very favorite book in the world. This book was so wonderful that after I finished it (in one day) I simply could not pick up another book for days (this from someone who reads at least 100 romances a year). I just couldn't get the characters out of my mind. It was such a touching book, it had me smiling for days. After reading "Phantom Waltz" I have looked in used book stores and on the internet for all of your older books. I have now read all but the Commanche Series, which I just found and ordered on e-bay. I just can't wait to get started. All of your books are a treasure to me. Thank you so much!

In April of 2002 I picked up Sweet Nothings in a garage sale and in May I found Phantom Waltz. I started reading Phantom Waltz on a Saturday and by Sunday noon I was finished. I found I could not stop. This book was so enjoyable that I found myself going back and re-reading parts. I can't wait to start Sweet Nothings and I am on my way to buy Baby Love. I cried and laughed from page one of this book. Never before have I enjoyed a book so much...Your writing is an insperation... There are so many emotions going through my mind from this book... Believe me I will tell EVERYONE WHO READS that this is one they can not pass up.... Please keep writing........

I don't remember the last time I had a book actually made me laugh and smile as much as your's. You have a wonderful sense of humor. First, I have e-mailed you severl times in the past few months, I always get a reply within 24 hrs. My husband thought I was crazy the first time I wrote. "She'll never respond." Now he tells his friends that I have an e-mail pen pal with a famous author. Thank you, it made me feel like my thouhgts matter to you. Second, I love your book, because if you are writting about the present or the past, you write a beleivable story. Not all of us needs a knight in shinning armor, just knowing that love can surive in the real world is enough. I have a inner peace at the end of each of your stories. Just one more quick note, glad to hear Kibbles is doing well. My 5 month Siberian Huskey, Shinook, is doing wonderful. He is already learning not to bother mommy durring reading time. Keep up the good work Tina G.

Gerry, you came back. Let me introduce my niece, everyone--and my clone, according to our husbands. Gerry tried to save the guesbook for all of us. She was the last one to post before the crash. Sadly, the file she sent was only graphics. Ah, well, Gerry, you tried. Or was it David? No matter. I appreciate the effort. And, as you said, it's filling back up. Thanks for signing in again, sweetie. I'm sorry you didn't get to see all the other family posts. I miss you, too!

Okay Catherine, I leave another message on your guest book before leaving for my long weekend in Key West, and come back to find that the whole guest book got "LOST"? I had left a message to tell you that I had spent some time looking through the site and how much I really like it. Also, would like to see some pictures up on the Photo Gallery of you with that glass of wine on the deck making eyes at Sid. I can tell that you are enjoying the guest book and BB - but how about getting back to what we all love - writing your great stories. Will catch up with you in e-mail!

Allison, I hope your daughter enjoys Annie's Song. It's really too bad more books aren't done that she can relate to. Maybe one day I'll do another story about someone hearing impaired. Thanks for signing in!

Hi Catherine. Umpqua is about 8 miles West of Sutherlin. We lived right along side the Maine Umpqua. There use to be a Store next door to us, but when they tore down the old metal bridge, they had to tare down the Umpqua Store to make room for the new bridge. I loved that old metal bridge. The owls use to nest there and at night, I loved to hear the old bridge humm when a car went across it. Now there is an old park and a plaque there because our old house sets on the very site of an old fort. No one knows the real name of the fort, but they think it was called Fort McKay. I'm not sure on the spelling of that. I remember growing up and on the ranch and searching for indian arrow heads. The only things I found were the grinders. My dad seemed to be the lucky one to find the arrows and the bowls that went to the grinders and believe it or not, a huge slab of rock with a perfectly round hole in the middle we think was used as an anchor. Our fields use to be a beautiful green and well maintained, but the land has since been sold and not taken care of very will. Someone else now owns our old house. My mother had a hard time living there after the death of my father. She saw him there everywhere she looked and that made her miss him even more. If ou ever get the chance, take a trip there and imagine us owning all of that land and how it once looked with the green fields and the cattle roaming from field to field. In late fall, we always moved the herds up into the hills due to the threat of flooding. We were lucky to miss the great flood of '64, but inside the house, wse could still see where the water line was before my dad paneled the dinning room. That poor old house got a big make over when we bought it. Across from the river is the old grade school we attended. In my day, there were only three classrooms, 1st-6th grade with only three teachers. Needless to say, the classrooms were rather full what with two classes per room. My dughter had also attended the old Umpqua School for a brief period. Just about the only problem we had was the fact that we were cattle ranchers surrounded by sheep ranchers. We had the Henry's on side and the Murphy's on the other. Talk about feeling a little out of place. Know one held it against us though. In those days, (and it wasn't really that long ago. I'm only 41), everyone knew their neighbors and help each other out. There were halloween parties, anniversary parties and 4th of july get togethers. It doesn't seem as if anyone has time for those anymore. Now that my husband and I live in Wisconsin, I've been thinking about starting all that up again. We have lived here for almost seven years and I have yet to meet all my neighbors. Good thing is that once again, I'm living out in the country again and I love it. I look forward to reading more of your books. Erika Heckl

I read Annie's Song and was touched by the heroine. I have a teenaged daughter who is hard of hearing. She is an avid reader and there are so few books with a heroine that she can relate to directly. She gets the book next. Thank you!

Hi catherine, sorry to hear you lost all the previous entries, hope things are working better now. I have been reading Indigo Blue, such a good book, and the part about lobo dying really hit home as my precious little jack russell was killed just this past Tues. my daughter accidentally ran over her, she's terribly upset bless her heart, anyway it's been a sad week, but as always reading had been a comfort. Thanks again for such great books.

My apologies, ladies! Due to an unfortunate accident last night, the guestbook entries got erased. Cissy is trying to recover them from the server, but if that isn't possible, all your wonderful messages have been lost. I'm so sorry. I know it's more fun to be able to read what everyone else has said. We'll try to fix it! If we can't, please post! It looks so lonely now!
