"Virgin River series by RC"
 
   Has anyone read the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr? If so what have you thought about it? If not, I highly recommend it. So far there are four books out and the next three in the series comes out this Feb, March, and April. She also had a Christmas book this last Dec. I really enjoyed this series and eagerly wait the next.

   Hi Denise!

Let me take a moment to welcome you to the board. A couple years or so ago I read the first Virgin River book. I thought it was a solid read. This past month, I did pick up the Christmas book, but haven't had time to read anything! Can they be read independently or should one read them in order?

Denise, I am with you on this series...its brilliant! I loved a Virgin River Christmas and often by book 4 some series start losing their appeal...this one just gets better and better. I am about to order the next two books which have now appeared on an Australian online bookshop catalogue.

If you haven't read this series, like Denise, I highly recommend it.

Stephanie, I personally think the series is better read in the correct order. The characters from previous books appear quite frequently in the next book and it would be beneficial to know a little about these characters (each have their own unique life experiences which they bring into the story) while reading the book - I hope this makes sense!

   Stephanie, I agree with Dianne. It is better to read this series in order as she said because the characters appear in the other stories as well. I personally like to read books in order if they are a series. Like Catherine's Kendrick/Coulter/Harrigan series. I read them in order and I think it helped. You should read the others!
