"Comanche Moon"

All I can say is "Applause, applause, Catherine!!" I am so happy that this book is out again! I am only on chapter 10 (I was sucked in early in chapter 1), and I can't put the book down. It's actually a hazard. I bring the book with me everywhere, even in the car, and I actually look forward to stop lights so that I can read for even a minute.

I know what you mean...it's definitely one of those kinds of books. Makes you want to call in sick to work and stay home and read!!!!

I finished the book and it was wonderful. If you have not read this, you need to go out and buy it.

I absolutely loved it, too. I swapped for Blue Skies and now I am going to start it as soon as I finish what's next on my list.

There is NO excuse for abuse!

I kind of just finished rereading it...I flipped through it reading my favorite scenes!!! I just reread it back in Jan/Feb, so I may wait for a bit before truly reading it again.

I've always thought that his book is Catherine at her best. I can't wait to chat about this one with everyone!

I started it the other day...read it a long time ago, so it is like reading it for the 1st time. I don't think I could 'skip' through it. It is just as good this time as the 1st.

Just an update on Comanche Moon. When I went to Wal Mart today, I checked to see how well it was selling from when I got mine, and low and behold they are almost all gone.. think there were two left,, And still on the top shelf. It just so happend the book guy was there so ask him about restocking and he said yes, he thought so but hadnt gotten that far yet.. I said well it is a great book and should be restocked,, he did smile at that. And that is so unlike me,, I am normally shy.. no really Lee and Mickey I am....
So all I have else to say is;;

GO CATHERINE,, GO CATHERINE... LOOKS LIKE YOUR HOT OUT THERE!!!

Okay~ I"m going to read through all the posts but honestly, is there anyone out there willing to share their comanche series? I will ship it back to you and PAY to have it shipped to me! I just can't afford what they are going for on ebay. I'm a Kindergarten teacher w/ two young ones and summer is finally my time to read
I'm pretty sure I read it years ago, but I can't be sure. I didn't even realize it was a series till I finished Comanche Moon.
Anyone willing? I have a 100% positive on ebay and I'll give ya my phone number so you can hunt me down if you think I won't send it back...Do I sound desperate, or what?
Even our libraries don't have em!

I just realised after reading the excerpt at the back of my Comanche Moon book that they announced Comanche Heart will be released in the USA Spring 2009. I am feeling a lot better now that I know I will one day soon be able to purchase/read this book. I think the whole series will be released. I rang so many secondhand bookshops across Sydney yesterday looking for the last three books with no luck - the publishers would be mad not to release the whole series again.

Have you thought about checking out your local used book stores to find a copy of Comanche Moon? You'd probably end up spending less just to buy it than paying for shipping for it. I went into my local used book store yesterday and someone had just brought in a whole bunch of CA books. The most I'd ever seen there, so you may want to try that out. Then you'd have it for yourself when you want to reread it, which I'm pretty certain you will. Just a thought.

I will be hunting at the used book stores for the rest in the series I actually have Comanche Moon ~ it's the other 3 I need. Those are Hard to find and sell for an outrageous amount on ebay and Amazon used. That's why I was seeing if anyone had them out there to borrow. Even the libraries don't have them! Even the library system in MD where I'll going in JUly don't have them!! As I said, Hard to find
Thanks for the response,
Christy
